  • Privacy policy
  • What data do we collect?
    • Personal identification information: email address, name, employer, home base, signature.
    • Other information: flight data, licence/ratings, last connection IP address (this helps us secure your account in case a log in attempt is made from two different far away locations within a small period of time).
How do we collect your data?

We do not collect personal data without your consent, the data stored in our servers will be provided by you when you:

    • Register online for a new account.
    • Set up your profile.
    • Import or manually add flights to your account.
    • Use or view our website via your browser's cookies.
How will we use your data?

Skipper Logbook collects your data so that we can:

    • Maintain an account for you.
    • Email you when a significant event (usually security related) happens affecting your account.
    • Link the flights imported by you to your account, and allow you to export these flights.
    • Show you personal statistics of your flying career.

We NEVER share any of the data with any third party. Your data is only to be used and known by us.

How do we store your data?

Your data is securely stored in a server located in the EU. We will keep your data in storage for as long as you have an account. You can delete the data you want within your account any moment you want, and if you decide Skipper Logbook is not for you anymore, you can choose to permanently delete your account (irreversibly erasing all your data). Similarly, if you don't use your account for a significant period of time, we reserve the right to delete your data after warning/notifying you.

    Marketing

At the moment, we don't do marketing. If you receive any marketing email from Skipper Logbook, it's probably somebody else pretending to look like us (phishing scams).
